Living a culture of CARE is doing the right thing at the right time, the right way, for the right reason. At ASC, we believe that diversity – in backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives – makes us stronger as an organization and as an asset to our community.
We take pride in upholding our core values, Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence (CARE). We also are honored to be surrounded by caring and talented individuals that care for our residents. At American Senior Communities, it’s our Caring People That Make the Difference. That’s why we created the Quest for Excellence Employee Recognition Program, to honor exceptional ASC employees at each community for the service they provide our residents every day.
The Share to Care Fund was designed as an easy way for employees to assist fellow employees and/or their immediate family members during times of hardship. Assistance is available for certain emergency situations beyond an applicant’s control which has caused a financial hardship. The fund is intended to provide basic necessities and temporary relief to those who encounter sudden financial hardship due to unexpected life events such as natural disaster, major illness or non-work related accidents.
At American Senior Communities, we understand that training and developing new leaders is vital to the success of any organization. We believe in growing dynamic leaders who will positively impact the future of long-term care and our organization. Our Administrator-in-Training (AIT) program has been established to provide opportunities to both internal team members as well as new team members that are seeking a career as a licensed nursing home administrator. During our one-year program, future leaders will receive the training and education required to complete the course while receiving hands on experience.
At American Senior Communities, we believe that caring for others means personally knowing and valuing each individual as a person. We believe that each customer deserves to be known, recognized, understood and cared for as much emotionally as they do physically. A Companion is someone who accompanies our residents on a journey. Someone they know who shares their burdens and joys. A Companion is dedicated to Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and providing Excellence in the care of our customers. This is our Culture of CARE.
