American Senior Communities is proud to announce that two of their communities have received the 2022 Silver- Achievement in Quality Award bestowed by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
The two communities listed below join our existing Silver Award recipients. In total, there are fifteen ASC communities that have earned this distinction, representing nearly three quarters of all Indiana communities that are current Silver Award winners. There were only two communities in the state of Indiana to receive this award for 2022, both are American Senior Communities.

This award is part of the AHCA/NCAL’s National Quality Award Program, which recognizes long-term and post-acute communities nationwide for demonstrating dedication to improving the lives of their residents through consistent, quality care.
Applicants for the Silver Award status must have already attained the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award, which focuses on a community’s ability to implement a performance improvement system. At the Silver level, applicants continue to learn and develop effective approaches that improve performance and healthcare outcomes. Communities are assessed on their systems of organization, their effectiveness and their tools for improvement in their approaches. This award lays the foundation for the program’s next designation, which is the Gold- Excellence in Quality Award.
