ASC Communities Receive 2018 Silver – Commitment to Quality Award

Q National Quality Silver Award 2018

Caring people make the difference at American Senior Communities.  It is one of the reasons why several ASC communities were recently honored with 2018 Silver – Commitment to Quality Awards, which are given to honor senior health communities dedicated to quality care of residents.

While the awards are given nationwide, only four communities were honored in Indiana with a Silver Award and three of those are operated by American Senior Communities. Countryside Meadows in Avon, Springhill Village in Terre Haute and LowellHealthcare in Lowell will receive the Silver Award for demonstrating their commitment to providing quality care.

The Silver Award is the second of three distinctions possible through the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) as part of their National Quality Award Program. The Bronze Award is the third.  Communities that have achieved all quality goals receive the Gold Award.

“This year’s award recipients are leading the way for others in the profession in pursuing quality care,” said AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Board of Overseers Chair Alana Wolfe. “I commend them on this accomplishment and challenge them to continue making progress in quality improvement.”

The communities will be honored during AHCA/NCAL’s 69th Annual Convention and Exposition, October 7-10, 2018 in San Diego, California.

American Senior Communities operates senior health and living communities throughout Indiana and in Louisville, KY.  Living options and services include Independent Living and Wellness, Assisted Living, Rehabilitation, Alzheimer’s & Memory Care and Skilled Nursing Care.
