Advanced Respiratory Therapy
Our Advanced Pulmonary program is designed to help patients with respiratory conditions reach their highest practical level of function while reducing the risk of re-hospitalization.
We care for conditions such as:
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Tracheotomy

The program aids participants in increasing their quality of life by teaching self-management of the disease and increasing physical endurance and activity level.
We also offer Ventilator Care which helps residents breathe and ensure the appropriate amount of oxygen is supplied to the blood stream.
This person-centered, outcome-based program includes:
- Pulmonologist consultation
- On-site Respiratory Therapists
- Disease management education
- Social services support
- Integrated care management

Why We are Experts in Advanced Respiratory Therapy
Our Advanced Respiratory Therapy program, available at select ASC centers statewide, is led by an interdisciplinary team, including a Pulmonologist and Respiratory Therapist. We offer comprehensive care and education for conditions like COPD, tracheotomy, pneumonia, chronic emphysema, and pulmonary fibrosis. Our Ventilator Care program provides specialized care for those needing oxygen-pumping equipment, with a skilled team available 24/7. We tailor goals to wean patients off ventilators when possible, focusing on enhancing comfort, safety, strength, activity participation and overall quality of life.
