Nurse Aid in Training (NAIT)
This is the start of the clinical pathway. We welcome new staff who desire to serve the elderly. We offer paid training as they work on becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Under this vast program, ASC has had success in training and certifying several hundreds of new CNAs as they begin their journey in healthcare. We are also delighted to partner with several community-based non-profits, high schools and other community service programs to provide meaningful work and opportunities throughout Indiana.
Opportunities to Nursing Excellence (O2NE) (For Select Communities)
The O2NE Program provides a subsidy of educational expenses for eligible employees on their journey to become licensed practical nurses and registered nurses. Over the course of several years, ASC has provided career opportunities in nursing via this successful program.
Ongoing development is provided for clinical leadership throughout the organization to learn new ways and best practices that drive quality and positive outcomes for caring for our residents.
As clinicians travel through the Clinical Career Pathway, ASC offers several specialty certifications that improve the quality of care for our residents. This includes Qualified Medication Aid, Wound Certification, IV Certification, Infection Prevention Certification, and more.
Director of Nursing-in-Training
For those nurses who desire to mentor and lead others, ASC is committed to growing nurse leaders via this intensive and rewarding Director of Nursing development program.
At ASC we are committed to developing those with a flair for providing amazing dining experiences to our residents, the opportunity to learn new skills and grow their career path in the culinary arts. To see each step of this journey, click here.
