Education Reimbursement

ASC offers a variety of financial resources for multiple career advancement purposes. This includes a $3000 tuition reimbursement for business relevant educational advancement and financial assistance programs to obtain licenses and certification in clinical, physical therapy, social services, culinary and more. At ASC, we are committed to growing and developing caregivers at all stages of clinical skills. To see each step of this journey, click here. Below we describe a few ways of how we support this pathway.

Nurse Aid in Training (NAIT)

This is the start of the clinical pathway. We welcome new staff who desire to serve the elderly. We offer paid training as they work on becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Under this vast program, ASC has had success in training and certifying several hundreds of new CNAs as they begin their journey in healthcare. We are also delighted to partner with several community-based non-profits, high schools and other community service programs to provide meaningful work and opportunities throughout Indiana.

Opportunities to Nursing Excellence (O2NE) (For Select Communities)

The O2NE Program provides a subsidy of educational expenses for eligible employees on their journey to become licensed practical nurses and registered nurses. Over the course of several years, ASC has provided career opportunities in nursing via this successful program.

Clinical Credentialing

Ongoing development is provided for clinical leadership throughout the organization to learn new ways and best practices that drive quality and positive outcomes for caring for our residents.

Specialty Certifications

As clinicians travel through the Clinical Career Pathway, ASC offers several specialty certifications that improve the quality of care for our residents. This includes Qualified Medication Aid, Wound Certification, IV Certification, Infection Prevention Certification, and more.

For those nurses who desire to mentor and lead others, ASC is committed to growing nurse leaders via this intensive and rewarding Director of Nursing development program.

Registered Dietitian Pathway
It’s important that Registered Dietitians (RD) continue to learn and grow to meet the varied needs of our residents. The RD Pathway provides ongoing certifications and education opportunities to make them high level experts in Food and Nutrition. Along the way, additional financial growth occurs!

Developing leaders at all levels is critical to support quality of care within ASC and the ever-changing needs in senior care. ASC is proud to offer programs that develop new and emerging leaders for the profession and grow seasoned leaders to be the best they can be.
