ASC Senior Vice President Among Those Honored as Hoosiers of the Year

ASC Senior Vice-President of Clinical Services, Alicia Sims, was among those recognized as Hoosiers of the Year by the Indiana Society of Chicago Foundation during the Society’s 116th Annual Gala in Chicago on Saturday, December 4th.

Sims was honored for her exceptional clinical leadership and was recognized alongside individuals from sixteen outstanding Indiana organizations, including Eli Lilly and Company, Community Health Network, and Indiana University Health. Also recognized that evening was Purdue University, as Institution of the Year.

ASC COO, David Stordy remarked, “Alicia has been a rock for her colleagues during the great uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Alicia has never wavered in putting residents’ safety and needs first.  We are truly grateful for Alicia’s leadership and extremely proud of Alicia as well as all of our nearly 9,000 team members who display an enduring commitment to the care and safety of our residents every day”

Indiana Society of Chicago Foundation gathers annually to celebrate the accomplishments of businesses, colleges, universities, and individuals doing extraordinary things in Indiana. The 2021 Hoosier of the Year was unique from previous events, honoring the many Hoosiers from across the state who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in their care of COVID-19 patients.
