Bernice Sayers has been a long-time Anderson resident and was an avid roller skater. A highlight of her life was a trip to New York City to see the legendary Rockettes dance group when she was 87 years old, two years after she retired. Bernice prides herself in working hard her whole life and offers the same advice to younger people: work hard for what you want.
