Certified Nursing Aides

We take pride in helping individuals achieve goals that will help them advance their career. Our free Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) classes offer the opportunity to start a career in the rewarding field of nursing in just four weeks. ASC Nurse Aide classes are approved by the Indiana State Department of Health.

Both the traditional and interactive classes consist of a minimum of 30 hours of lecture and 75 hours of clinical practicum conducted in an ASC community.

Q: Where are the programs located?

A: The programs take place at our buildings (refer to the list of facilities at ASCCare.com). After submitting your application, a recruiter will reach out to you to choose a program that best fits your schedule and location.

 

Q: Is the course really free?

A: Yes! American Senior Communities takes care of everything for you.

 

Q: When do the programs take place?

A: There are programs taking place all the time at various locations. After submitting your application, a recruiter will reach out to you to choose a program that best fits your schedule and location.

 

Q: What time do the classes take place?

A: The times for class is dependent on the instructor. Most of our classes take place during the day, but some locations will host evening classes. This can all be discussed with the recruiter.

 

Q: Will the program work around my full-time job?

A: We can’t guarantee that all of our programs will work around a full-time schedule during class hours, but there are some instructors who offer evening courses to accommodate a variety of schedules. Your recruiter will discuss the different options with you.

 

Q: Who can attend the program?

A: Anyone! You do not have to be an American Senior Communities employee to take advantage of this opportunity.

 

Q: Do you need any certifications to attend the program?

A: No, prior experience is not required.

 

Q: How long does the program last?

A: The program typically lasts between 4-5 weeks. It consists of 30 hours of class time and 75 hours of clinical time.

 

Q: Can I work for American Senior Communities after I complete the program?

A: Yes! From Day 1, our training is designed to help you become an incredible CNA’s, and we love hiring incredible CNA’s for the residents that call American Senior Communities home.
