In 2025, ASC partnered with a company called Provider Partners to bring free additional benefits that are tailored to the long-term care residents. Provider Partners currently brings the ISNP benefits program to 50 ASC communities statewide and will expand to 41 additional ASC communities in 2026.
Provider Partners is a Medicare ISNP Program which means this is only offered to residents in long-term care settings. ISNP stands for Institutional Special Needs Plan therefore it is only offered to residents in partnered long-term care facilities and assisted living facilities. Provider Partners is currently in nine other states.
According to an article from the American Healthcare Association on March 6, 2025, ISNP enrollees had better quality outcomes compared to other Medicare Advantages. Learn more about the benefits of ISNP programs.
Through the partnership with Provider Partners, the residents in the program have an extra layer of clinical support through a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse Care Coordinator that Provider Partners employs in each of ASC’s participating communities. Having extra clinical oversight helps reduce hospitalizations and keeps residents at home.
The residents also have access to several other benefits tailored to their needs in a long-term care setting such as over the counter (OTC) ordering, dental, vision, hearing, podiatry and grocery allowances. The residents particularly love ordering different shampoos and lotions out of the OTC catalog with their assigned RNCC. The grocery allowance has given ASC residents exciting independence in ordering snacks of their choice to be delivered right to their room, or they can go shopping at local retailers for their snacks on outings with families. In the state of Indiana, Medicaid recipients in SNF’s get to keep $52 per month in personal allowance therefore the grocery and OTC allowance has increased ASC residents’ happiness to be able to shop for personal items.
