What is Medicaid Waiver?
The Aged and Disabled (A&D) waiver allows individuals who are aged, blind, or disabled to remain in their home or assisted living community as an alternative to nursing home placement.
Who is Eligible for Medicaid Waiver?
Requirements for Indiana State Medicaid Health & Wellness Waiver (ages 59 and under) and Indiana
PathWays (ages 60 and older) Program include…
- Must meet the income and resource limits of Medicaid
- Must qualify for institutional care in order to be eligible for home- and community-based services.
- Must be a fully aged and disabled Medicaid recipient (We can assist with the application process)
