Fourteen American Senior Communities locations have been recognized as 2024 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award recipients by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The award is the second of three distinctions possible through the program which recognizes organizations that meet progressively rigorous standards of performance in improving the lives of residents and staff in long term care.
As Silver Award Recipients, these communities have progressed from Bronze status and are now positioned to attain Gold, the highest level. Trained examiners review each application to determine if the center has met the demands of the criteria and maintains the standards before they progress through the program.
These 2024 recipients join 14 other ASC communities who previously achieved and continue to maintain AHCA/NCAL Silver status. ASC communities account for 60% of all Indiana Silver recipients.
