ASC Has Talent (AHT) 2nd Annual Talent Show – A Night of Starpower

Following the incredible success of last year’s debut, ASC Has Talent made a triumphant return on April 29th by lighting up Awards Night at the 2025 ASC Leadership Retreat in beautiful French Lick, Indiana! The second annual competition was nothing short of spectacular, with six powerhouse vocalists stepping into the spotlight and captivating nearly 400 ASC leaders from across our regional, community, and home office teams.

Months of excitement led up to this magical evening, beginning with an open call for auditions. Hopeful contestants submitted video performances that were reviewed by a panel of judges, who then selected the standout finalists to perform LIVE at the retreat. And wow….did they deliver!

Meet the Contestants (in order of performance):

  • Ashley Stonecipher, QMA from Todd-Dickey Nursing & Rehabilitation, opened the show with an emotionally rich rendition of ‘Rescue’ by Lauren Daigle. Her elegant dark green gown shimmered as she delivered a truly breathtaking performance.
  • Benjamin Seiwert, Speech Language Pathologist at Westview Nursing, followed with ‘This Is the Moment’ from Jekyll & Hyde, commanding the stage with his Broadway-worthy power and grace, and a voice to match!
  • Bobbi Stewart, Senior Accountant at Home Office, rocked the house with a stunning version of Journey’s ‘Faithfully’. Her stage presence was electric, and her voice-power had a lot of jaws hitting the floor! She was nothing short of a seasoned star.
  • Jacqueline Peppler, Sous Chef at Bethlehem Woods Nursing, enchanted the crowd with ‘A Million Dreams’ from The Greatest Showman. Her voice and emotion transported the audience to another world as she glimmered in a beautiful evening gown..
  • Morgan Denovich, Guest Relations Specialist at Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living, delivered an unforgettable, show-stopping version of ‘Hallelujah’ by Alexandra Burke. Her silver gown sparkled, and so did she as she had much of the crowd in tears with the powerful ballad.
  • Precious Highbough, Memory Care Specialist at Meadow Lakes, closed the show with a stunning performance of ‘Bound to You’. Her vocals soared with emotion, channeling Christina Aguilera-level intensity and heart. And her stage presence was nothing short of a bonafide star.

With energy high and hearts full, co-hosts Jeremiah Dyer and Tim Carter kept the crowd engaged, seamlessly bouncing between the leadership and building awards stage and the performance stage, keeping the night lively and full of fun. After all six contestants wowed the audience, it was time for the votes! Using live electronic voting, the crowd chose their top three:

3rd Place: Bobbi Stewart, 2nd Place: Benjamin Seiwert, and 1st Place & Winner of the $5,000 Prize: Morgan Denovich!

The cheers were deafening as Morgan’s name was announced, and the celebration continued well into the evening. But truthfully, everyone who performed that night walked away a winner, bringing joy, emotion, and their true selves to the stage. The level of talent was simply unbelievable and it will be a hot topic for some time to come!

Perhaps the most beautiful part of ASC Has Talent is the camaraderie behind the curtain. All six contestants formed fast friendships and genuinely supported each other, just as our teams do at our communities. They showed they are not only CARE Companions while on the clock, but their kindness and support of others extends beyond work hours. They cheered one another on and celebrated each others’ talents, forming a bond that will live beyond the competition. It was a powerful reminder that when we share our talents, we share our hearts; that’s what we do at ASC!

We’re already looking forward to ASC Has Talent 2026, and we hope to see you on that stage!
