The Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award is the first of three progressive levels in the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program. This initiative recognizes long-term and post-acute care providers nationwide that are dedicated to continuous improvement and excellence in care delivery.
Each application is rigorously evaluated by trained experts using criteria based on the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, a nationally respected framework for performance excellence. The program supports providers in achieving superior long-term outcomes and enhancing residents’ quality of life.
Steve Van Camp, CEO of American Senior Communities, expressed his pride in the achievement: “We are deeply honored to be recognized at the national level. These awards represent more than recognition; they reflect a deep commitment to our culture of quality care and an unwavering commitment to our CARE values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence. We thank and applaud our teams for their continued pursuit of excellence.”
The 2025 AHCA/NCAL National Quality Awards will be formally presented during the Elevating Excellence Awards Ceremony at the AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo: Delivering Solutions 25, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Tuesday, October 21.
