ASC’s Quest for Excellence is an employee recognition program that celebrates exceptional performance by team members who go above and beyond the normal expectations of their job. Honorees are chosen from all departments including clinical staff, therapists and culinary staff, as well as business office, housekeeping, maintenance team members and others.
Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence are the core values of American Senior Communities. These words form the acronym C.A.R.E. and serve as guiding principles for every ASC employee. They are key factors that ASC leadership considers in nominating a Quest award winner.
Leadership at each community chooses one award winner each quarter, and then one team member is chosen as their overall annual Quest for Excellence winner, a significant achievement and honor. Both quarterly and annual winners are celebrated within their community and receive a monetary bonus. Annual winners are invited to attend the Quest of Excellence Awards Banquet, which takes place in Indianapolis each fall.
