Born in Huntington, Indiana, Mrs. Sutton was married to Ralph Sutton. She had five step-children and 20 grandchildren. She was a buyer for International Harvester until her retirement in the 1980s. Her advice for a long life: volunteer, stay busy, get involved in church, travel when you can and have an active social life.
