Born August 2, 1913 in Howard County, Indiana, Mrs. Bronson is a 1928 graduate of Kokomo High School. She attended Indiana University in Bloomington. She married Frank Sallee, who passed, and William Bronson, who also preceded her in death. She has five children, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She worked as a dental assistant and CNA. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Mrs. Bronson told her family that she was a sickly baby, but that changed after the family doctor made a special “home brew” for her which helped her get better. “My mom thinks the brew is her secret to longevity,” said her daughter Cheryl Locke.
