American Senior Communities is delighted to announce that two of our communities have been awarded the prestigious 2023 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
These two exceptional communities, Monticello Healthcare in Monticello, IN, and Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick, IN, join our existing Silver Award recipients. With these additions, a total of seventeen ASC communities have now earned this distinction, representing half of all Indiana communities that have received the Silver Award in 2023.
The Silver Award is part of AHCA/NCAL’s National Quality Award Program, which acknowledges long-term and post-acute communities across the country for their unwavering commitment to improving the lives of their residents through consistent, high-quality care.
To be considered for the Silver Award, applicants must have already achieved the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award, which emphasizes a community’s ability to implement a performance improvement system. At the Silver level, applicants continue to enhance their approaches and learn effective strategies that elevate performance and healthcare outcomes. Communities undergo evaluations based on their organizational systems, effectiveness, and improvement tools. This accolade serves as a stepping stone toward the program’s next level of recognition, the Gold – Excellence in Quality Award.
