American Senior Communities is proud to announce that six of their communities have received the 2022 Bronze Achievement in Quality Award bestowed by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
The six communities listed below join our existing Bronze Award recipients. In total, there are forty two ASC communities that have earned this distinction, representing nearly half of all Indiana communities that are current Bronze Award winners.
The communities are:
- Good Samaritan Home & Rehabilitative Center, Oakland City, IN
- Hickory Creek at Franklin, Franklin, IN
- Hickory Creek at Madison, Madison, IN
- Hickory Creek at Sunset, Greencastle, IN
- Mount Vernon Nursing & Rehabilitation, Mount Vernon, IN
- Waters Edge Village, Muncie, IN
This award is part of the AHCA/NCAL’s National Quality Award Program, which recognizes senior care communities nationwide for demonstrating dedication to improving the lives of their residents through consistent, quality care.
This designation recognizes a community’s commitment to strive for quality improvement and the community’s resulting ability to implement a performance improvement system. This award lays the foundation for the program’s next designation, which is the Silver – Achievement in Quality Award.
“Caring people make the difference is not just a slogan, we intentionally seek individuals with a heart for service and a calling to serve seniors,” said Donna Kelsey, CEO of American Senior Communities, “It’s an honor to be recognized for our commitment to delivering quality care. Going through the process of achieving the Bronze award only makes our organization stronger.”
American Senior Communities is honored to have these six communities recognized at AHCA/NCAL’s 73rd Annual Convention & Expo in Nashville, TN in October of this year.
