Memory care neighborhoods are the perfect environment for residents experiencing the early and middles stages of the Alzheimer’s and dementia journey in a residential setting.
Each neighborhood customizes the care and program based on the resident’s individual strengths and needs. The unique structured program gives the opportunity to maximize and sustain each resident’s independence.
The programming consists of physical, cognitive, creative, sensory, and spirituals activities along with a variety of other outlets to allow them to freely express themselves. “My wife and I have been living at Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living since 2016, and it is one of the nicest places in the area. The workers are all happy to be of help, and they're very friendly. The activities are good and we particularly look forward to the entertainment. The outings are particularly fun and uplifting.”— Neil Sullivan, resident
“The staff and residents were very supportive and helpful during a difficult time in my life. After my wife passed, it was wonderful to be surrounded by such supportive and caring people. I have made some really great friends, and it makes my children feel good that I am not alone. It is nice to be served meals and have available housekeeping and social opportunities. Exercise class helps keep me active and mobile. I appreciate that we have weekly worship services and that I am able to participate.”— Robert Tinsky, resident
“There are so many things I like about living at Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living! I like playing checkers. Playing pool is another pastime that I enjoy a lot. There are a couple fire places, and it is really nice to sit by them and read. Danielle, my kitty, lives with me here, and it meant a lot that she could stay with me. The best part of living here is that my sister lives here too! She is eight years older than me, and I remind her of that all the time!”— Carlos Webb, resident
